DAY 1    SATURDAY    OMIŠ (L)

Saturday Day 1 (L) Omiš

HIKE: Omiš – Fortica – Omiš

  • Length: 4 km
  • Duration: 1,5 h
  • Total ascend: 330 m
  • Highest point: 301 m
  • Difficulty level: 3/5

Check-in and departure at 13h. Lunch during the journey to Omiš and time to meet fellow passengers and the crew. Upon arrival in Omiš, walk tour to the Fortica fortress above town which is located on the top of Omiš Dinara. That was an important position for pirates because they could control the huge area on the sea and on the mainland. You can see the whole city, the canyon of Cetina river as well as the islands Brač, Hvar and Šolta. Return to Omiš and overnight.

DAY 2      SUNDAY       MAKARSKA (B, D)

HIKE: Vošac – Sveti Jure – Voša

Breakfast during sail from Omiš to Makarska with panoramic cruise at the foot of the mountain Biokovo – the biggest, the hardest and the most beautiful mountain in Dalmatia. After arrival to Makarska, transfer to the mountain hut ‘Pod Vošcem’ where starts our hiking tour to the highest peak of Biokovo, and at the same time the second highest Croatian peak – Sveti Jure (1762 m). In the close vicinity of the hut is the peak Vošac (1422 m) with beautiful and unforgettable views on the whole Makarska riviera, Omiš, Split and also the island of Brač, Hvar, Korčula, Lastovo and Pelješac peninsula. We continue further, a little uphill then little downhill and so on to the mountain hut. There is a telecommunication tower in the vicinity as well as the peak Sveti Jure, but the climb to the top is secured by rope. After relaxing and enjoying the view to the mainland, the sea and the islands, we go the same way back to the mountain hut and further with transfer to Makarska.

DAY 3        MONDAY      MLJET (B,L,CD)

Morning sail towards the lush green island of Mljet. Breakfast during cruise and enjoy the views of Hvar island, Pelješac peninsula and Korčula island. Arrival to Pomena, lunch on board and afternoon walking tour on National park Mljet, the oldest National park on the Mediterranean. Entrance fee to be paid on the spot approx. 17 EUR per person. The main reason why Mljet is proclaimed national park is definitely its two connected salt water lakes, rich flora and a unique appearance of the coast, cliffs, rocks and numerous islets. Hike tour to the peak Montokuc (235m) with the wonderful view of the whole Mljet archipelago and neighboring islands. In return, refreshment in salt lakes. Possibility of Captain’s dinner on board. Overnight in Pomena.

DAY 4       TUESDAY         PELJEŠAC (B,D) 

HIKE: Orebić – Sveti Ilija – Orebić

Before breakfast, cruise towards Pelješac peninsula with the dominant peak of Sveti Ilija (960m). Start of hiking tour from Orebić. Easy climbing to Ruskovići village and then further by a well-built and well-kept hiking path. The trail goes through a pine forest, but also some parts are very steep so caution is necessary. After approx. 3 hours of hiking we reach the peak, which is one of the widest and the most beautiful viewpoint in Croatian mountains. Descend to Orebić taking less steep path with a wonderful view of archipelago of Korčula town. Arrival to Orebić, boarding the ship and short cruise to Korčula town. Dinner on board and overnight.

DAY 5        WEDNESDAY        KORČULA – VELA LUKA (B,L)

HIKE: Vela Luka – Hum – Vela spilja – Vela Luka

HIKE: Sveta Nedilja – Sveti Nikola – Stari Grad

Breakfast and cruise to the longest Croatian island – Hvar. Arrival to Sveta Nedija village, disembark from the ship and start of hiking tour to Saint Nicholas (628m), the highest peak of the island. Ascend by road and then macadam path through the numerous vineyards. There is a cross at the edge of the cliff and the neighboring chapel of Saint Nicholas after which the name of the peak comes from. Descend to the other side of the island by less steep path, towards Stari Grad. We go through Stari Grad field – well preserved ancient land division which dates from Greek times. There is a system of paths and plots. Dinner on board and overnight in the harbor of Stari Grad.

DAY 7       FRIDAY      BOL (B,L)

HIKE: Bol – Vidova gora – Bol

Last active day in the week we start with sailing from Stari Grad to Bol with the goal of conquering the highest peak of all Adriatic islands – Vidova gora (780m). Breakfast during sail. We start hike tour in Bol. Paved road through the place and then the attractive built hiking path to the plateau of Vidova gora. Arrival to the top with the stunning view of neighbouring island of Hvar, also to Vis, Korčula and Pelješac but also towards the world famous beach The Golden Horn. After relax time, descend the same way back to Bol, boarding the ship and cruise towards Split during lunch. Free afternoon for exploring the town of Diocletian. Overnight in Split.

DAY 8       SATURDAY     SPLIT (B)

SWIMMING BREAKS:In good weather and depending on timing we will have regular stops for swimming while the ship anchors in secluded bays approximately 20-30 meters from the beach or after the hike before departure to next island.

HIKING ROUTE: The length of the daily hiking routes is estimated and informative and depends of various detours or short cuts that can be done on route. Sailing and hiking routes may be changed on the spot due to weather conditions and capability of the respective hikers on board. Departure depends on the programe. 

FOOD:Continental breakfast, lunch or lunch package (depending of the daily program) and dinner on board. During our hiking routes, we will recommend stops at local restaurants where you can sample the local specialties. These meals are not included in the price of the trip but are paid by the customers.

ENTRANCE TICKETS  to Mljet National Park and Dragon Cave are not included in price.
